Shipping and Handling Policy


Sorry, we can not ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Canada or international addresses.

Free Shipping Orders over $99 will be shipped free UPS “ground” to in the lower 48 states. We may substitute FedEx Ground for free shipping.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii Shipments to UPS “ground” to Alaska and Hawaii is a based on UPS Real Time Rates Plus a $2 handling fee.  Transit times are typically 3 business days. No Free Shipping is offered to Alaska and Hawaii due to the higher costs.  Oversized items such as hospital beds, mattressed, furniture, etc., are excluded from our standard Alaska/Hawaii rates due to the very high cost. Please call for an actual cost quote to ship oversize items to Alaska or Hawaii. Call prior to placing an order to Alaska or Hawaii, as shipping cost would be the actual cost.

The majority of our items are shipped via UPS or FedEx ground Continental US ONLY (48 states). Small items may ship USPS Priority Mail. Smaller, lighter packages (1 and 2 lb. mostly) are likelier to go Priority Mail or occasionally First Class for very light packages.
We reserve the right to send via alternate carriers.

Shipping of very heavy and awkward items, like Hospital Beds, Mattresses, and Lift Chairs
We cover freight to the address. Any additional optional services such as assistance with the shipment set up, lift gate service, inside delivery or other similar items are not covered by GoAssured. In some cases they may be arranged, please ask us for assistance.


Important: If you need an item by a certain date, contact us to verify it can be done. While we will make every effort to get your packages to you by your desired date, GoAssured cannot guarantee the timely arrival of your package. To reduce the possibility of disappointment, shop early!

The majority of our Shipping is handled by UPS and FedEx, for very light packages, under 2 lbs, we may ship USPS Priority Mail.

Expedited Shipping Rates (48 states) Oversized items, such as hospital beds, furniture, etc., are excluded from our standard expedited shipping rates. The UPS Real Time Shipping Rates are dynamically calculated using the most recent UPS rates as listed on their site.

Incorrect Address Information for shipped orders
If the package has incorrect or incomplete address information, we will be charged a fee by UPS of $5.00 for ground shipments, $10.00 for 3-day and faster shipments to correct the address and deliver the package.  Other carriers charge different fees for correcting incomplete or incorrect addresses. Examples of incomplete addresses include missing Apartment or Suite numbers, or missing floor, if applicable, or supplying us a PO Box as a delivery address. The fee to correct the shipping will be charged to the customer.
Please double-check addresses during checkout. If shipping elsewhere, verify the address. This fee isn't charged if we catch the address ourselves first.

UPS Undeliverable packages & Refused Packages Fees
As of January 3, 2006 UPS charges return shipping for undeliverable or refused packages. This charge will be passed on to the customer; we are not able to absorb the charges. This policy applies whether your order qualified for "free freight" or not. Packages refused by the recipient, or which can't be delivered will be returned to us by UPS for a fee.
DO NOT REFUSE AN ITEM WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING US.  Refused orders are returned to the original shipping address, and may be subject to a 25% restocking fee plus shipping costs even if the item was listed as Free Freight.
Undeliverable packages shipped UPS ground will be charged published UPS ground residential fees including fuel surcharges both directions. Undeliverable packages shipped 1, 2 or 3 day will be charged published UPS rates for the outbound shipment and 3 day published rates including fuel surcharges for the return shipment. Examples of undeliverable packages include, but are not limited to, orders that have incorrect address information, packages that are refused for any reason when delivery is attempted, and packages that aren't delivered in 3 delivery attempts, packages unclaimed at the UPS local office or any other reason out of UPS's control that result in the package being returned to us. Please make sure the addresses are correct, the recipient knows the package is coming and that the location is suitable for daytime delivery of packages.
For packages shipped directly from the manufacturer, customer will be responsible for packaging and shipping. Once the product is received at the manufacturers facility in like new condition, we will refund your purchase price, less a 20% restocking fee and outbound freight charges.
